Get Involved

The MSTD Executive Committee would like to welcome you to our bi-annual meetings which are held on Monday evenings, from 6:30 – 8:30 pm, during the summer and winter ANS meetings. Meeting information, including room location, can always be found toward the back of the meeting’s final program. These meetings are held to discuss MSTD activities, including allocation of our budget resources for programs that support the MSTD vision. Your input is always welcome (although only executive committee members are permitted voting rights). If you would like to become part of the Executive Committee, we always welcome self-nomination of new members desiring to get involved.

MSTD is always looking for members to help support with summary reviews, judging at the yearly student conference,  giving presentations of interest to the materials science community in ANS, and chairing technical sessions at the winter and summer ANS meetings. We welcome you to contact any of the MSTD officers to find out more information about how to get involved and become a more proactive member of ANS and MSTD.
